Module 2. Working with Named Ranges - 1½ Hours
In this session we cover how to name cells and use them in formulas. Using Named Ranges will help make formulas a lot easier to create, read and reuse.
Course prerequisites –Candidates should have good working knowledge of Excel L1 This module will cover:
- Creating and Using Named Ranges
- Automatically Naming Ranges
- Navigating with Named Ranges
- Using Range Names in Formulas
- Pasting a List of Named Ranges
- Deleting and Editing Range Names
- Creating Named Constants
Module 3. Charts - 1½ Hours
This session will take a set of data and help you make it meaningful by creating bar charts, pie charts and explore other charts.
Course prerequisites: Candidates will need to be confident setting up data in a spreadsheet, saving and locating the file.

- Using Charts
- Creating a Chart
- Changing Chart Type, Style and Chart Sub-Type
- Changes to the Chart Source Data
- Add data to an existing chart
- Change the data in an existing chart
- Remove data from a chart
- Managing Chart Objects
- Moving and Resizing Chart Objects
- Deleting Chart Objects
- Adding Data Series and Objects to a Chart
- Changing the Chart Type
- Formatting Chart Objects
- Printing Charts
Module 4. Advance Formulas & Functions - 1½ Hours
If you are able to create spreadsheet layouts but now need more advanced Excel's calculating power, this session will be the one to choose.
Course prerequisites: Candidates need a good working knowledge of Excel at level 1 This module will cover:
- Vlookup
- Hlookup
- If functions
- Countif
- Sumif
- Using Dates
- Flash Fill
- Subtotal function
- Other functions and formulas etc
