Course Overview

WISP® (Working in Small Projects) guidance has been specifically developed as a framework for small and non-complex projects and change initiatives. Guided by four stages and seven principles, the guidance addresses all key stages of a project and has been written in simple language. This makes it easy to understand and follow, particularly for individuals for whom project management is not their main profession.

Working in Small Projects (WISP®)

Duration: The course is 2 days, and the exam is taken on a separate day.

Not all projects require a detailed, complex methodology or framework!

WISP® (Working in Small Projects) guidance has been specifically developed as a framework for small and non-complex projects and change initiatives.

Guided by four stages and seven principles, the guidance addresses all key stages of a project and has been written in simple language. This makes it easy to understand and follow, particularly for individuals for whom project management is not their main profession.

WISP has been designed for:

Students and graduates requiring an entry-level project management framework and understanding. Individuals for whom project management is a part-time or occasional activity.

Project professionals that often work on small and/or noncomplex projects.

Small and medium enterprises, where existing project management frameworks may be deemed unnecessarily complex and unsuited to their typical projects.

Training and certification will equip individuals with the knowledge and understanding of the WISP method, enabling them to work effectively with, or as a member of, a project team within an environment support the WISP guidance.

Training is delivered by a fully qualified WISP training associate.

Examination format:

  • Multiple-choice
  • 45 questions
  • 25 marks required to pass (55%)
  • Closed book
  • 40-minute duration
